London (Sunatimes) Always, nothing is too late, and being late is better than never. Finally, the SSC intellectuals are out in big numbers shrugging off the inexcusable indifference and wrong reading to the events on the ground in Somalia in general and the north in particular.

Ultimately, or we can hope so, the SSC intellectuals (Aqoonyahan/Waxgarad) are ending their deep and true hibernation.

Hibernation according to some definitions:

Hibernation is a time when animals ‘sleep’ through cold weather.  This sleep is not like human sleep where loud noises can wake you up.  With true hibernation, the animal can be moved around or touched and not know it.  [Don’t you do this, though.  Some animals only go into a torpor or temporary sleep time and can wake up quickly, Like BEARS.  ………… hibernation is different from regular sleep.  With normal sleep, the animal moves a little, has an active brain, and can wake up very quickly.  With true hibernation, the animal appears dead.  There is no movement and it takes a long time for it to wake up enough to even walk around.

Therefore, it is clear for us that the kind of hibernation that the SSC intellectuals were in long time dealing with is the true hibernation that they appeared dead – obviously, a very dangerous situation. Interestingly, the duration of the SSC intellectual’s hibernation was not just seasonal, but endlessly year in and year out.

Now, that the SSC intellectuals are waking up from the true hibernation, have come together and deliberating in London (UK) about the important and fateful issues of SSC territories and population and their connections to the larger un negotiable Somali Nation Unity, they should keep in mind the following:

In the books of the SNM Cult of Isaqism, there is no compromise, no logic, no moderation, no modesty of any kind, no sense of decency, no consideration to anything human, Islamic, Somali culture and wisdom, and peaceful co-existence. Instead, they are totally blind and empty of brains. SNM mobilized themselves from the get go in arming themselves and march on aggression against all Somalis and particularly the non Isaaqs in the North. Since the Isaaqs started the SNM agenda in 1981, they never changed course and will not do so until seriously and effectively confronted with the language and actions they know best. The sad part though is that the bully has zero tolerance to be in the receiving end of the same treatment – they start crying, and that is what we are witnessing the SNM is doing.

A Somali saying goes, “Wanka Indhihiisu Cirka ma Arkaan Ilaa la gawraco”. Roughly translated: A he sheep’s eyes never see the sky unless slaughtered”, as long as alive a he sheep looks down and not up ever. The SNM is exactly the same as a he sheep. In the meeting at London, or anywhere else in the SSC circles, There should not be someone coming forward with the suggestion, for example, “The SNM are Somalis, let’s try to talk to them and influence them to moderate and change!!!!!!!!!!!!! First, at the moment, they’re what they’re bullies and not Somalis….totally blind, hearless, with no sense of hearing, and no brain at all. How would you communicate with such hopeless creature???!!!! Perhaps, the only one time that the SNM would come to their senses is when they find themselves in the same fateful situation as the Mubarak family in Egypt or others like them narrated by history. I have been for long time looking to a media photo of Mubarak and his two sons arrested who appeared perplexed, shocked, confused, and so frightened. Of course, at the time, when the SNM finds itself in a situation like that, it’s too late.

In the same token, the cult of Majeertinism shouldn’t find its way to the conference either. And, it must be dealt with the same vigor and decisiveness toward the SNM cult of Isaaqism. Ex Puntland has long deserted, neglected, and purposefully handed over the SSC to the secessionists. Moreover, the cult of Majeertinism has dishonestly tried to mislead the SSC people in thinking that the cult is coming to our aid, and also telling us about unforthcoming salvation process that could take up to the day of judgment, so be patient!!! The Cult of Majeertinisim prescription medicine to the SSC is exceptionally misleading to imply that the SSC people are incapable of putting their affairs and home in order!!

Here is where the focus of the participants of the London SSC Intellectuals meeting should be:

The SSC people have already their SSC Regional Administration in place, and the administration and the SSC people have together scored historic, remarkable, and incredible political and military achievements in relatively short period. Therefore, it’s an imperative on the SSC intellectuals to focus on the ways to encourage, build on, and advance the liberation of SSC territories in all means and the expansion of the SSC political spectrum locally and internationally. It will be unforgivable to come up with anything, albeit small, that would or has the potential to undermine the achievements thus far registered by the SSC people. For example, it shouldn’t be in the meeting agenda anything with reference of SSC leadership change in this juncture of SSC circumstances. I hate to say it. However, we can’t equate the leadership of SSC who sacrificed their lives and wellbeing for the greater good of SSC with some other spoilers among us who tirelessly make noises to destroy the SSC achievements and dreams. The spoilers have one of two different objectives: Some may have personal interests with misplaced political leadership aspirations, and others, more dangerously are serving and representing the interests of the archrival SSC enemies. As such, we should stand guard against them.

Even though the SSC Administration has achieved enormous successes, it does not mean they did everything nor did them right. And that is understandable, because even in the most ideal circumstances it would be impractical to expect an organization to fulfill all its stated objectives. No body could discount the loss of life of those SSC defenders who died for liberating our territories and dignity and many others who still in the frontlines, nor the total SSC leadership putting their lives on the line and their noticeable loss of weight and physical deterioration. The SSC Administration in the past had to and still has to fight its way against insurmountable challenges from within and externally. All that said, while the SSC Administration and its people are commended by the historic achievements, it is still believed that more could have been done – both parts, the SSC Administration and the SSC people could have fared much better than they did already, our potential is underperformed. Conceivably, the missing role of the SSC intellectuals was a big factor. For final note, the leadership of the SSC Administration should and must overcome its manageable shortcomings – they’re the leadership and it’s their primary duty to organize, mobilize, and unite the SSC (in Somalia and the diaspora) and execute the SSC political and liberation objectives in the best possible manner with the help of its citizens. The SSC leadership should also be open for every constructive criticism and learn from it. Anything against our SSC Regional Administration of Somalia will serve the interests of our SNM and SSDF opponents, and thus it should not happen, even in the most remote sense.

The final Communiqué of the SSC intellectuals meeting in London should broadly emphasize on the positive ways to advance, support, and rally behind this successful SSC Administration in place. The Communiqué must also congratulate our brothers and historic political allies in Awdal and the establishment of the Awdal State, and outline the immediate course of action and cooperation between the two regional states.
