Baydhabo (Sunatimes) Soldiers of the TFG in Bakool province have today carried out security operations in a bid to ameliorate the security issues.

The soldiers started the operation at El-Barde and Aato where some elders from the region were injured in a landmine blast.

Some officials carrying out the operation told Bar-kulan that they have rounded up some people who are feared to be part of security problem and the attacks. They were already taken to police station in Eel-Barde and arrested.

Al-Shabab is accused to have planted mines in Bay and Bakol regions to restrict advancing Ahlu Sunna and TFG troops.
