Among the issues which will be discussed in this important occasion is the conditions of health, the progress gained in the fight against diseases and how to create awareness among the community to prevent communicable and other diseases

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) A ceremony for celebrating World Health Day is expected to be held in Mogadishu and other parts of Somalia today. The World Health Day coincides with the 6th April where people come together on this important day to talk about health.

Among the issues which will be discussed in this important occasion is the conditions of health, the progress gained in the fight against diseases and how to create awareness among the community to prevent communicable and other diseases.

The advisor of the women development centre and chairman of COGWO, Sahra Mohamed, said to Bar-kulan that she is going to take part in the occasion which the ministry of health of the TFG is going to hold in Mogadishu today.

Sahra said it is paramount to tell the people that the World Health Day is a day exclusively meant to discuss health issues and diseases.

She briefly explained that work the women development group has achieved where she said they have medicated some poor patients who were taken to abroad for treatment. The patients included children, women and old people, she said.
