Belethawo(Sunatimes) Pro-government militias of Ahlusuna National Salvation forces  on Tuesday carried out security operations in Belet Hawo district of the Gedo region.

The militias have arrested eleven people who were suspected to have planned an attack that occurred on Monday night at the base of the group’s militia in Belet Hawo.

Sheikh Mohamed Huseen who is one of the Ahlusuna ANSF officials in Belet Hawo told Bar-kulan Radio that they have arrested eleven people who are suspected to be Al-shabab operatives in the district.

According to Sheikh Hussein, the suspects were taken to Belet Hawo central police station and will soon appear in court.

Elsewhere, Ahlusuna National Salvation Forces ANSF militias on Tuesday started an operation against a group of robbers who have been operating in the road between Luq and Belet Hawo districts. The group vowed to clear the road and provide security to the users.
