Dobley (Sunatimes) Reports from the remote town of Dobley in the Lower Juba region say that the positions of Al-shabab militants came under attack on Monday night.

Forces supporting the Transitional Federal Government have attacked the Shabab militia positions with mortars. The soldiers launched the attack from Harharka village at the out skirts of Dobley.

Most of the residents in the area have already fled the district as the fighting was going for seven days now.

Government soldiers want to seize the strategic town which is not that far from the Kenyan border from the Shabab insurgents.
