Al-shabab militias in Afmadow district have imposed a curfew especially in the areas near the hospital

Gedo (Sunatimes) Al-shabab fighters who were injured in the recent fighting in Dif district have been taken to Afmadow hospital.

Reports from Afmadow say that more than ten wounded Shabab fighters were brought to the hospital on Sunday. Some of the casualties are not in stable conditions.

Al-shabab militias in Afmadow district have imposed a curfew especially in the areas near the hospital. Local citizens were not allowed to visit the hospital. Security around the hospital also remains tight.

The fighters were injured in the fight between Al-shabab and the Raskamboni group.

The Raskamboni group is lead by Sheikh Ahmed Madobe.
