Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Nine more Al-shabab insurgents died due to the injuries they sustained from Wednesday’s land mine that exploded in Belet Weyne.

The land mine exploded while the militias were trying to place it in a bridge at the out skirts of Belet Weyne town.

Transitional Government forces who are fighting the militants have established bases 5KM from Belet Weyne. Al-shabab militants fear that the government forces will seize Belet Weyne from them.
