    Somalia:Government Troops Heading to Baydhabo

    Reports from the Bakol region say Al-shabab militants already left Hudur and Wajid districts.

Reports from the Bakol region say Al-shabab militants already left Hudur and Wajid districts.

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Forces of the Somali Transitional Federal Government are heading towards Baidao district, the capital of the Bay region.

Baidao is one of the major strong hold areas of Al-shabab militants.  However, Al-shabab insurgents are still in the town.

Some government forces who are currently stationed in areas near Baidao district told Bar-kulan that their forces are planning to take over the Bay and Bakol regions from Al-shabab militants.

Reports from the Bakol region say Al-shabab militants already left Hudur and Wajid districts.  Government forces and pro government militias of Ahlu-Suna group are in El-Bon village which is located 30 KM from Wajid district.
