    Somalia: It is not suitable step to shut down Radio Kulmiye

    Mogadishu(Sunatimes) Lawmaker Mohamed Omar Dalha says that its not suitable to be taken steps against the media.

Mogadishu(Sunatimes) Lawmaker Mohamed Omar Dalha says that its not suitable to be taken steps against the media.

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Professor Mohamed Omar Dalha who is member of Parliamentarians of Somali government said that it was not appropriate footstep the decision radio Kulmiye was closed yesterday by National Security Agency (NSA) of Somali government.

 

The legislator told that the government lost the endurance they should listen their defects but the government is only ready to listen their praises he said and Prof. Dalha appointed what is very sorrowful the violation conducted to Radio Kulmiye, one of independent F.M radio stations in Mogadishu.

 

Mr. Dalha indicated that the action made by National Security Agency (NSA) can’t be tolerated and its is excluded off expression of thoughts for the media.

 

Mohamed Omar Dalha called for instead of the action radio Kulmiye, it‘s not to be pressured the independents media in the city, the lawmaker also said it would be good step if the blemish would have been discussed.

 

The professor, on other hand; said it is another case that government forces interfere the media though the information minister is ready for the media.

 

Mohamed Omar Dalha, Somali legislator also said that the parliament have information committee and will issue reports from this case.

 

The speech of lawmaker Mohamed Omar Dalha comes at time as National Security Agency of Somali government yesterday moved to close radio Kulmiye with out specifying words about the closure of radio Kulmiye, which was condemned by the variety of international press and Somali community.
