    UNDP Trains Somaliland Police Officers

    The training was offered at different times as most of the officers have been attending their normal duties during the training.

The training was offered at different times as most of the officers have been attending their normal duties during the training.

Hargeysa (Sunatimes) More than 1200 Somaliland police officers have completed their training in Mandera training college.  The college is located 90 KM from the capital, Hargeysa.

The training was sponsored by the United Nations Development Program organization (UNDP). The officers were taught laws on human rights and professional skills on public relations and international laws regarding their duties.

The training was offered at different times as most of the officers have been attending their normal duties during the training.

The officers who attended the training were selected from different regions of the break away Somaliland administration

Somaliland has it’s own administration and enjoy peace during the two decades of anarchy in other parts of Somalia.
