Bahoku says AMISOM fought with Shabab yesterday in Mogadishu around key fields for Shabab and told AMISOM seized new bases from Shabab, where just AMISOM made new bases according to him.

The spokesman also confirmed that two of their soldiers were killed in the war against Shabab but he said AMISOM got accomplishments from the war as new bases resized, the spokesman also told that there were soldiers wounded in the war, and those were taken to Nairobi for treatment.  

Ba-Hoka said once again AMISOM had taken control of the dugout system, which was being used to bring fighters and bullets to the front lines according to him.

The spokesman also indicated they find messages from the residents in the fields controlled by shabab, saying “AMISOM have to come to us, we are in problem from Shabab, as to get peace, AMISOM should come to our areas”, and repeated he can show those messages to the journalists.

Though as the spokesman of AMISOM said that they are not just able to go to the fields just the people calling AMISOM, live, but hoped they will soon reach those fields as to stabilize the security as he said.

Harakatu Shabab and Somali government backed by AMISOM are still fighting in Mogadishu and just death tolls rise from the battles in the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu.
