Mogadishu(SUNATIMES) Heavy fighting between Somali government forces backed by African Union Peace Keeping forces (AMISOM) and Harakatu Shabab, the anti-government element which fights to oust the government, erupted in the third day in the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu.
It was predawn this morning on Monday as heavy clashes between the rivals sides in Mogadishu broke out in the districts of Hodan, Hawlwadag and Bondhere. The artillery shells and machine guns were extremely used in the war by the groups fighting in the city.

The fighting between Al-Shabab and government forces supported by AMISOM began on the past Saturday in Mogadishu as planned attacks taken by TFG forces and AMISM over the bases of Harakatu Shabab in the districts of Hodan, Hawlwadag and Wardhigley, which engulfed many lives.


The fighting which started on Saturday caused casualties of both sides and civilians and as known over 20 civilians including sides fighting, died and another number over 30 civilians including the sides were injured in the battle which is going on in the third day in Mogadishu.

The TFG, AMISOM and Shabab claimed different victories from the fighting which took place in the last two days in Mogadishu, and these sides said that every group will continue the war as to remove each one’s in Mogadishu
