SRINAGAR (INDIA) Feb 2: Kashmir separatist leader and chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin was kept under seize by the activists of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) this in Indian capital New Delhi. The leader has dared the BJP to hoist tri-colour at Clock Tower in Srinagar on Indias republic day on January 26 last month.
Reports from New Delhi said that in Faridabad locality of New Delhi, the BJP activists appeared outside the apartment of Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Ghani Lone, where JKLF chairman has stayed from last two days. The BJP activists shouted slogans and demanded the Malik should be handed over to them. The sloganeering reports added continued for at least three hours and in the meanwhile a contingent of Delhi police reached the spot and stopped the BJP activists.Talking on phone from New Delhi Malik said that seize ended after four and a half hours when a heavy contingent of Delhi police reached the spot. “The BJP activists were chanting slogans against me. They were trying to bring me out and were calling me anti-national as I dared them hoist tri-colour at clock tower,” he said adding that he is safe now and is inside apartment. The JKLF chairman said that his wife has come from Pakistan and he has come to receive her in New Delhi.
