Lecturers of Sudan’s Nileyn University are conducting the seminar

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Thirty Somali journalist from different media agencies with in the country are attending a seminar that is being held in the headquarters of Somalia’s ministry of information and postal services.

The seminar is aimed at helping the Somali journalists build their expertise and enhance more professionalism in their carrier. The seminar is being funded by the Arab League.

Lecturers of Sudan’s Nileyn University are conducting the seminar. The university has got its branch in Mogadishu.

The Transitional Government’s minister for Information and postal service Abdikarim Hasan Jama who spoke during the official launch of the seminar urged the attending journalists to produce and present accurate news and information to the people of Somalia.

The minister believes the broadcasting of accurate news free from fallacies could be part of Somalia’s healing and reconciliation process.

Abdikarim thanked the Arab League for sponsoring the seminar and said he was optimistic the League could partner with the TFG in sponsoring more development projects.
