Mudug (Sunatimes) Five people have been killed and nine others sustained injuries after two local clan militias fought in Jildere division which is part of the Mudug region.

The militias are reported to have arrived the scene of conflict from Amara and Baadweyn divisions. A woman and two children are among the dead.

Some of those injured in the clash were taken to hospitals in Galkacyo while others were taken to Adado hospitals.

The two clan militias are believed to have fought over the ownership of grazing land and a well. However, the area where the fight took place on Wednesday morning is said to be calm.
