    Somali delegation led by president Darmaan heads for Washington=

    Stockholm (Sunatimes.com) – a wider delegation led by the president of Somalia’s United Somali Republic Party (USRP) president Abdinor Ahmed Darman are heading to Washington DC to meet with US officials after important meetings in Zurich

Stockholm (Sunatimes.com) – a wider delegation led by the president of Somalia’s United Somali Republic Party (USRP) president Abdinor Ahmed Darman are heading to Washington DC to meet with US officials after important meetings in Zurich Switzerland with the Swiss government and other international organizations.  

Before Switzerland the delegation visited Kenya, Jordan, Ukraine, German and France and met with government officials from those countries to persuade them to change their position about the situation of Somalia.

The delegation of president Darmaan consisting of government ministers, diplomats, businessmen and journalists are heading Washington to discuss with Obama administration about the future of Somalia which is at stake now.

Dr. Faris Al Salamo, the political advisor of president Darmaan told Sunatimes that the delegation is going to Washington to persuade the Obama administration that Somalia needs emergency approach to stop the bloodshed.

"We want to persuade the Obama administration that Somalia needs an action to stop the bloodshed, but doesn’t need more arms and soldiers to increase the loss of lives there" "I wish it is a time the world to listen president Darmaan, because he is the legitimate leader of Somalia but the international community is not recognizing the government" he added.

Among the delegation are several businessmen who want to open Hobyo port and an airport that can be used by the Somali people because of the current situation of Mogadishu.

President Darmaan condemned some EU countries including Italy that they are using the Somali migrants are maids and low cast employees.

Darmaan who gave an interview with the Somali speaking Bar-Kulan radio of African Union in Nairobi, said, "The Italians misuse the Somali migrants, their violate their human rights and they use them as forced labors" "The countries like US, UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Holland received the Somali migrants in a proper way, but Italian government totally is different, they lost the hope of the migrants" he added.

He called the way the Italian government acts with the Somali migrants as awful and unacceptable mistreatment and called it to change its policy towards the Somali migrants.
