Ambassador Monica Juma, D.Phil, CBS is Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was previously Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, and has served in a wide variety of posts in both government and inter-governmental organisations. Ambassador Martin Kimani, PhD isthe Director of Kenya’s NationalCounterTerrorism Centre and Special Envoy CVE. Prior to this role, he was Permanent Representative and Head of Mission to the United Nations at Nairobi and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
