Hargeisa(Sunatimes)  An armed man has shot dead a police officer in Hargeysa, the capital of Somaliland as the shooting happened inside IFTIN police station, Waaheen newspaper said.
 
The director of Hornafrik Radio and Television Abdukadir Jirow Sharmarke who went Hargeysa for workshop has been arrested without any charge and no one talked about his detention.


 
Even the newspapers and media groups in Somaliland did neither speak about the arrest of Sharmarke nor condemn the government of Siilaanyo for its act.
 
Sister of Sharmarke told Waagacusub.com that her brother is wanted to pay 3,000 US Dollar for ransom.
"We can not pay a money for illegally and we are asking for the public and the press in Somaliland to help release my brother." Halimo Jirow Sharmarke said.
 
The Somaliland police began to arrest people from southern Somalia and then ask for ransom.
 
The media in Somaliland has no full access to make coverage over the truth, as Yool press editor Mohamed Abdi Urad has been told to be sent to jail if he does not stop publishing the news stories that shedding the light on the government's wrong doings.
 
Earlier, the former interoir minister Abdullahi Iro told the local media that he was stopped by gunmen driving car and threatened him to be killed.
 
Hargeysa, which has been a peaceful city, now became unstable and turned into chaos like Mogadishu.
the sounds of gun bullets is being heard throughout the city and the ordinary people can not go out in the nights as cell phones robbed and cases of rape against women seen.
 
Some of the displaced families from southern Somalia now living in Somaliland told Waagacuusb media that thieves have broke into their houses and stole their money.
 
Many IDPs began to move into Addis Ababa after having difficulties in living in Hargeysa because of insecurity.
"Everyday we are being robbed on the streets and the police began arresting our men accussing them of being Al-Shabaab and then ask for ransom. Our daughters are raped in the nights in their houses by unknown men. So we realized that we can longer stay here." Fadumo Ahmed a mother told Waagacusub media.
