Somali Exile Journalists Association (SEJASS) has strongly supported the
establishment of Federation of Somali Journalists (FESOJ) in Mogadishu and pointed the launch of FESOJ as a remarkable and important step taken forward.

The chairman of SEJASS, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Adam, in a telephone  contact with the interim chairperson of the new association announced in Mogadishu - Mohamed Olad Hassan, congratulated Mr. Olad on new beginning of the  task in which the new Association is engaged in bringing all Somali journalists together.



Mr Mohamed Abdullahi Adam has said that his association backs up the efforts that FESOJ is unifying Somali media workers in the country and beyond. SEJASS chairman has, for the meantime, stressed that SEJASS is a full member in FESOJ, a newly announced association in Mogadishu.

A well-organized ceremony, with full participation of many dignitaries including TFG
information minister, Eng. Abdirahman Omar Osman , Yarisow together with information minister for semi-autonomous region of Puntland Mr, Abdihakim Ahmed Guled and other Somali media veterans, was held in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
