Monrovia and its environs appeared today to be knockdown with no movement of free traffic as partisans and well-wishers of the opposition Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) took to the streets for the official launch of the Party's 'Two Million Man' campaign.
The streets of Monrovia were also blocked with thousands of people from all over the city and its environs joyously troop to the headquarter of the Party in anticipation to take an glance and listen to the presidential candidate, George Manneh Weah and his running mate Senator Jewel Howard.
their political campaign in support of the presidential bid of their political leader, officers of the Liberia National Police were in readiness to combat anything situation that could create insecurity to residents of Monrovia and other nationals.

The convoy of the CDC Presidential candidate and his running mate drove around the capital, through the Somalia Drive , to Monrovia and finally to the headquarter of the party in Congo Town, the suburb of Monrovia as thousands lined the streets of Monrovia to take a glance of their political leader and his vice.

According to a GNN Liberia reporter who was at the headquarter of the party and also toured the city as early as 6am, said the crowd over 500,000 persons also included other partisans of political parties who had joined partisans of the CDC as early as 5am today in their bid to see the celebration of the CDC partisans as they officially launch their campaign.

Similar crowd has been noticed in the port city of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, according to a GNN Liberia Correspondent where former Senator Mr. Gbehzohngar Milton Findley who recently resigned from the ruling Unity Party (UP) is said to be heading the party during its today’s campaign launch.
