Mr. Shire said there were many human rights violations in the war-torn country. He accused the peace keeping mission as part of the gross human rights violations in Somalia.
The activists has emphasized that the peace keeping mission and protection of human rights as two essential activities that are connected to each other.
Mr. Shire further argued that unless the human rights violators and rights abuse perpetuators are punished, peace may never prevail in Somalia.
Mr. Shire announced that on 29th of this month the United Nation’s Human Rights council will meet and discus human rights violations in Somalia as they seek the possible solution to the problem. He has shown his hope in finding a solution during that meeting.
