Baidao (Sunatimes) The Al-shabab militias in the capital of the Bay region have arrested ten local businessmen. The traders were arrested from different parts of the main market in Baidao.

Among the traders who were arrested today in Baidao are hawkers and small time business people.

They were arrested while operating their business this morning. Some of them were blindfolded by the fighters of the militia as they were seized.

The traders were later taken to Al-shabab detention center in Baidao. The militia group uses the detention camp as a place to punish those who refuse to follow its orders.

Al-shabab representatives in Baidao did not issue any comment relating to the arrests it made to some of the local traders. However it is believed that the traders may have refused to obey the orders of the group.

Earlier Al-shabab’s most senior official in Baidao Abdirahman Matan ordered the local traders not to sell any products which the children play with.
