The Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed who attended the musician burial at General Kahiye Somali Police academy in Mogadishu sent his condolences to the family and the friends of the musician.
“I want to send my sincere condolences to all Somali citizens, family, friends and Somali musicians,” he said.
Also those who attended the burial ceremony were the deputy PM and religious minister Ridwaan Hirsi Mohamed, Information minister Mustaf Ali Duhulow, minister of air transport Said Korshel, Minsiter for Internal security Abdikarim Hussein Guled and among others.
The deceased was well known for singing largely patriotic and love songs.
One of his best and celebrated songs includes Alla Maanta ayaanta, Heesta Sanadka and Waqti.
