Government sets its last attempt to defeat the Al-Shabaab militant groups.
MOGADISHU (Sunatimes) Somalia’s government officials at the border areas of southern regions said they had planned an all out war against Al-Shabaab militant insurgents controlling the Juba regions.
Spokesman for the government troops at the southern frontlines Hersi Haji Abdi told the local media they have completed their long preparation of engaging war against their rival.
“Our troops are now ready to launch attacks from every side of the southern regions to clean the terror groups from the towns. This is our last ditch of attempt to bush Al-Shabaab hardly.” said Abdi.
For the last six months, the government were training troops at the border regions in a bid to recapture the very strategic towns like Kismayo and Baidoa.
