The delegation is lead by Djibouti’s Information Minister Ali Abdi Farah and comprises of 16 dignitaries including Djibouti’s deputy parliament speaker.
Representatives of other governments in the region and across the world may also attend the ceremony.
Djibouti’s information minister Ali Abdi Farah who addressed the media in Hargeysa praised Somaliland for the June 26 elections. He said Somaliland has served as a good example in terms of democracy in Africa and to the rest of the world.
Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo won the 26 June elections that were described by the international observers as free and fair after defeating the incumbent president Dahir Reyale Kahin who also promised to resign gracefully.
