N’djamena: Sunatimes- Somali President Sheriff Sheikh Ahmed arrived in N’djamena, the capital of Chad, yesterday, a statement from the presidential press department announced.

President Sheriff went to the Chad capital to attend the annual summit of the Northern and Southern Sahara countries. Twenty eight leaders from countries in the region are attending the summit.

President Idriss Deby of Chad welcomed the Somali President last night in N’djamena; then two leaders held discussions over dinner.

Today the leaders were to commence a high level session and Somalia was on agenda.
