Bosaso:Sunatimes- Puntland’s security officials are preparing to counter a new insurgent group that declared Galgala division of Sanag region as an independent from the semi autonomous Puntland authority.

Security officials are doing many activities in Bosaso town and weapons and all equipments meant for a war are already gathered at different points at the out skirts of Bosaso town.

It has been confirmed that an Islamic authority has been established in Galgala division which is under Sanag region and part of Puntland. It is believed that Sheikh Attam who leads an armed militia in the area is behind the establishment of the new system in Galgala division.

For the past few days, some of the people of Puntland have been talking about Al-shabab’s black flag has been raised and put at some of the parts Puntland.

Already, the new Islamic system in Galgala has carried out various Islamic operations as two women who did not cover themselves with the Hijab were beaten. They were also forced to wear the Islamic dress.
