Galkayo: Sunatimes.com- Officials from the health ministry of Galmudug state in Somalia are attending a seminar on health administration. The event started yesterday in Galkayo.

Among the officials attending the seminar are the permanent secretaries and directors of Galmudug’s health ministry. The minister for health, Mr. Mohamed Hussein Idd, attended the opening ceremony.

The Minister urged the participants of the seminar to acquire competent knowledge and skills that will help them improve service delivery and management of the health sector.

After opening the seminar, the minister told Radio Bar-kulan that the objective is to train health officials on how to improve general management of the health sector and its facilities.

This is the first time a seminar to train health officials of Galmudug has been held.
