Ali sustained light injuries on the head and told Sunatimes that he was in good and stable condition.

He claimed that the attacker was a government soldier who was against the operation and is now in custody, adding that he will be arraigned in court as soon as possible.

Ali however promised to continue with the operation in order to strengthen security situation in the entire district.
