Surprisingly, South African citizens who were near the businesses raided more than 15 shops

Cape Town: Sunatimes- South African hooligans last night looted the shops of Somali entrepreneurs in Cape Town. Some of the shop owners were also injured by the hooligans.

Surprisingly, South African citizens who were near the businesses raided more than 15 shops owned by Somalis. It is not known whether the massive looting of shops was planned.

Some of the hooligans, who also happen to be residents of the areas where the shops are located, burnt some of the shops after looting them and injuring owners.

This unfortunate incident comes a few days after South African thugs killed three Somali businessmen and injured another two after they attacked them in their shops.

South Africa’s internal security minister has promised the Somali community that his government will investigate the incidents. Somalis were also targeted on Saturday at a conference held in Cape Town on safety of African immigrants.
