Although, all infrastructures in Somalia were absolutely grounded during the war, Information, Post and Telecommunication minister Abdullah Elmoge Hirsi remained optimistic that the country’s postal service will resume work the soonest possible.
Reviving the country’s postal service will be of great significant to the local population which has been forced to use old ways to send letters and parcels for the last two decades.

Somalia to revive its Postal cooperation next years, says minister
The government has announced to revive the country’s postal cooperation which has been grounded during the last two decades conflict in the country in order to offer the necessary postal services.
