During the tour to the region, president Mohamud is expected to visit Djibouti, Kenyan and Ethiopia where he will be meeting his counterparts in these countries to strengthen Somalia’s relations with other member states.

The president is accompanied by several top government officials including cabinet ministers.

This is the second official trip the president is making outside the country since he assumed office.
