Ahmed Noor Awdini was gunned down inside his office after gunmen armed with pistol attacked his office, killing him and his guard.

Police immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and launched investigation into the killing of the businessman.

No group has claimed responsibility of the attack but suspicion is likely to fall on Al-Shabaab militant group whose military power in Mogadishu has been grounded by the coalition forces.
