The Sunday night crackdown targeted several neighbourhoods in the city netted people suspected to have links to or are behind the recently witnessed insecurity in the city, according official who spoke to Sunatimes.

The affected neighbourhoods include Sigale and Bardale where most of the suspects were arrested.

The city has recently seen a wave of grenade attacks and targeted assassinations and the crackdown is meant to contain the situation.
