Barise alleged that during the incident, the suspect addressed people at the site of the incident, justifying his brutal the killings.

Another suspect, Mohamed Abdulkadir Hassan, is also accused of being an Al-Shabaab member and has on 19 of this month allegedly shot dead an officer at Bakara market in Mogadishu.

According the Barise, the third suspect who is a woman only identified as Yurub is a member of the dreaded Al-Shabaab militant group.

He alleged that Yurub’s husband was the suicide bomber who recently blew himself up outside the presidential palace, adding that police are conducting further investigations to determine her alleged links with the militant group.
