District commsionor of Mahas, Mumin Mohamud Halane confirmed to Sunatimes that the militiamen have pulled out the town last night.

Mumin said that the militia group withdrew out of Mahas after the group confirmed that Somali national forces were heading to Mahas.

The militiamen are reported to have headed to Eyl bur in Galgadud region when they pulled out of mahas distict and surrounding areas including Bulu’le and Bil’dle areas.
