    ASWJ in Central Somalia transforms into an autonomous regional administration

    Ahl-Suna wal-Jame’a in central Somali regions have transformed into a an autonomous regional administration after its top-brass officials had a consultative meeting in Galgadud for a period of four nights.

Ahl-Suna wal-Jame’a in central Somali regions have transformed into a an autonomous regional administration after its top-brass officials had a consultative meeting in Galgadud for a period of four nights.

The meeting which saw the new move was pioneered by the three influential committees of Ahlu-Suna which convinced the group to dissolve into an autonomous administation.

The group’s consultative committee chairman Omar Abdulkadir told Sunatimes that the new move is in line with political changes that are taking place in the war-torn Somali nation.

The chair of the three influential committees of Ahlu-Suna, Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Hasan said they will contact administrations in Mudug, Hiran and Galgadud in a bid to influence them adopt ASWJ’as style.
