Somali envoy to Kenya Mohamed Ali Noor (Americo) confirmed to Sunatimes that Somali leaders are today expected to arrive in Nairobi where they will be holding a two day meeting.
During the meeting, Americo said, leaders will discuss the roadmap including speeding up of its implementation and strengthening the outcomes of the recent meetings in Garowe, Addis Ababa and Galkayo.
The envoy added that the meeting was jointly organised by the signatories of the roadmap and the United Nations Political Office for Somalia.
President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali, speaker of the transitional federal parliament and officials from regional governments of Puntland and Galmudug as well as the Ahlu Sunna group are expected to jet into Nairobi for the talks.
