Delegates agreed on a number of points to be implemented before the transitional period comes to an end on August 2012, they also resolved to make amendments to some key issues in the new draft constitution that were differed upon by respective leaders.
The signatories agreed upon the following updated timelines in order to give direction to all parties involved.
The parties also agreed to establish a coordination office in Mogadishu to ensure effective communication and information sharing in order to steer up the process.
Speaking at the end of the closing ceremony, President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed promised to fully work towards the implementation of the points agreed in Addis Ababa, Garowe principles I &II and Galkayo consultations and urged all parties to closely cooperate in order to facilitate all required measures to end the transition before its mandate expires in August 2012.

Roadmap signatories conclude a consultative meeting in Addis Ababa
Signatories of the Roadmap to end the transitional governance in Somalia have on Wednesday officially concluded a three day consultative meeting held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
