    Ministers from two southern Africa countries visit Mogadishu

    A delegation from South Africa and Mozambique on Thursday arrived in Mogadishu where they were received by top Somali officials.

A delegation from South Africa and Mozambique on Thursday arrived in Mogadishu where they were received by top Somali officials.

The delegation comprising of eight officials, five from South Africa and three from Mozambique was led by South African constitution minister, Jeffrey Thamsanqa Radebe.

The plane carrying the visiting southern Africa officials landed at Adan Adde international Airport earlier today, where several Somali government officials were stationed to receive the delegation.

Their trip to Somalia is said to be aimed at fostering the bilateral relationship between their countries and Somalia.

The visiting officials are expected to hold talks with the top most senior Somali government officials including the President and his Prime Minister were they will discuss the role of these Southern African countries in ending the political turmoil in Somalia.
