Galkacyo (Sunatimes) - A plane of the airline Somali Jubba Airways a tire burst while landing at international airport Galkacyo (Somalia) leading off the runway that the pilots were unable to catch up.

The plane, a Boeing 737-200, flight 6J-711, which had made –‹–‹the connection between Egal International Airport in Hargeisa (Somaliland) and the international airport of Abdullahi Yusuf Galkacyo with a number of people who don 'was not reported, had just landed around noon ten, local time, when one tires of the aircraft exploded. The aircraft then veered to the side of the tire exploded and the pilot managed to regain control but could not prevent it from leaving the track a few meters before stopping, train stuck in the ground.

There were no injuries but passengers were severely shaken and shocked by this incident. They were landed before towing operations are performed by technicians from the airport. An investigation was initiated to determine the exact circumstances and an unofficial first report suggesting a lack of drivers for the bursting of the tire, without specifying which.

One of the Passengers said , This is very dangerous situation because we could loose many people’s lives easily. My question is what can our government Puntland State do to prevent such incident again?
