The group’s executive committee chairman, Mohamed Yusuf Hefow said insecurity has hampered developmental projects in these regions despite having plenty of natural resources.
His sentiment comes a time several Somali MPs and businessmen from Mogadishu are visiting parts of these regions in order to work on formulas that will lead to developing these regions.
The former TFG Information minister Ahmed Abdisalan who is among the officials visiting the area was quoted as saying that locals are also required be part of developmental initiatives in these regions.
Ahlu Sunna recently hinted that they will declare a regional administration bringing together all regions in central Somalia.
