    Kenyan Foreign Affairs Ministry officials visits Mogadishu

    Mogadishu(Sunatimes)A Kenyan delegation on Sunday arrived in Mogadishu, where they were welcomed by senior Somali government officials, reports say.

Mogadishu(Sunatimes)A Kenyan delegation on Sunday arrived in Mogadishu, where they were welcomed by senior Somali government officials, reports say.

The delegation led by Foreign Affairs Assistant Minister Richard Onyonka held talks with President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and his Somali counterpart.

Reports say the two sides discussed range of issues including bilateral relationship between the two neighbouring countries and the fight against Al-Shabaab militant group.

Kenya troops have been integrated into the African Union Force in Somalia in effort to boost the number of the force as it seeks to stabilise the chaotic Horn of African country.
