Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Without a doubt Al-Qaeda is responsible for the recent massacre at National Theater and the previous ones including the one at Shamo Hotel.I cannot penetrate the blank stares of those who would murder the innocents with heartless. The crucial question here is who provided them access to the theater? On April 8, 2012 Mr Sharif, the Somali President talked to VOA about the incident. He didn’t offer condolences to anyone. Instead he criticized the Ministry of Information, blaming them for the horrific incident. Mr Sharif said: the Ministry didn’t inform the authorities about the event.

During the question period, Mr Saharif mentioned that, although he was invited to this event, he didn’t bother to attend. He knew the security was weak.If the security was weak, and Mr Sharif knew about it why didn’t he cancel the event?

Furthermore, Mr Sharif admitted that, he didn’t know there was a graduation ceremony going on at the Shamo Hotel. He heard that Dr Adow, the previous Education Minister and other people were killed at Shamo incident. After Mr Sharif heard, the death of Dr Adow and the other people, he couldn’t believe it because they just left him .If Dr Adow was with Mr Sharif a few minutes before he died, don’t they discuss about the graduation ceremony or what Dr Adow was up to?

On April 9, 2012, the Minister of information, Mr Jahweyn talked to VOA and declared that his office did its job and informed the authorities of the event. Mr Sharif didn’t attend both events, the recent one at Theater and the previous one at the Shamo Hotel, because he knew that, the security wasn’t tight. It’s obvious that, Mr Sharif controls the authorities, and security services.
