Hundreds of families, mainly women and children, are facing humanitarian crisis in remote areas of the region after fleeing their homes to escape the recent clashes in the region, according to Ahlu Sunna officials, Omar Sheikh Mohamed.
Mohamed aid agencies have been facing difficulties in working inside the region during Al-Shabaab occupation in central Somalia but can now operate freely since they created conducive environment for them to work in the region.
The group appealed to the displaced families to return to their homes since they cannot be supported while deep inside their current remote areas.

Ahlu Sunna administration in central Somalia region has called for an immediate humanitarian aid for the recently displaced people in the region following clashes between them and Al-Shabaab militant group.
