Ahlu Sunna’s Shura council chairman Omar Sheikh Abdulkadir said the Wednesday attack was a disastrous attack that killed innocent civilians. He also said such attacks are against the teachings of Islam.

Abdulkadir suggested that only full scale confrontations with the militant group can prevent such deadly attacks in the country.

He said public participation in such actions is vital if the militant group is to be defeated and permanently cleared out of the country.
