The president said only unity among the public can lead the country out of the current stalemate, urging people to safeguard the security’s security and nationhood.
The president was speaking today at a security meeting held in Mogadishu’s Hamar-Jajab district aimed at discussing the security situation in the city.
Attending the meeting were Banadir’s regional governor Mohamed Ahmed Noor Tarsan and other top government officials.
Tarsan on his part stressed the importance of social interaction to achieve lasting peace in Mogadishu and the entire country.
