The PM and the visiting EU officials discussed range of issues including the current security situation in the country, the implementation of the roadmap and winding up of the current transitional period.
The completion of the draft constitution and the need for EU support in stabilizing the chaotic Horn of African country were also among other issues discussed during the talks.
Early last Month, the EU Special Representative to the Horn of Africa, Alexander Rondos, visited Mogadishu, where he promised to support the Somali government’s efforts to restore law and order in the country.
Rondos was appointed last year as the EU Special Representative to the Horn of Africa by the European Union Council in orderto actively contribute to regional and international efforts to achieve lasting peace, security and development in the region.

Somali PM meets EU chief for Horn of Africa in Mogadishu
