Addis Ababa (Sunatimes) The new African Union headquarters funded by China has been opened this afternoon after over 40 presidents from the African leaders have gathered there.

The opening ceremony of the new African Union headquarters has talked several leaders; the Ethiopian Prime Minister Ato Melels Zenawi has delivered a long and historical speech, so he stated political and circumstances of Africa. He also has mentioned that it's necessary that Africa could play its role.

Meles Zenawi has stated first, the new African Union headquarters funded by China for Arica countries and he pointed that this will be example the New Africa.

Moreover, Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said Saturday at the new headquarters' multi-storey amphitheatre, so he pointed that it was a jail named ALAN-BAQA which used to arrest the people.

Therefore, this example that I have used towards the new headquarters could be witness for the hopes of new Africa.

On the other hand, it's expected the African Union conference will be begun officially. In addition, the Somaliland Interior Minister has given information to the Somaliland journalists who were invited to the conference. He thanked to the Somaliland journalist how they took part the African union conference.

Also the Somaliland interior Minister has pointed out the objectives of his travel is aimed to talk about the relations of the two countries and the crises of east Somaliland. He added that its part of emphasize the international relations avoiding to expand propagandas and rumors against Somaliland by persons who has special interests.
