Mogadishu (Sunatimes)- The administration of President
Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud "Siilaanyo" recently received a high level
delegation of independent committee tasked with formulating a new federal
constitution from Somalia.
In a Top Secret documents received by Qarannews.com
from within Somaliland and Somalia, the delegation came on a secret and
unannounced visit to Somaliland between April and May 2011.
This independent delegation met with senior members of
the Somaliland government, social organization, elders from Somaliland's
communities, woman's organizations, academics and students. The delegation
which in their report considered Somaliland " as a self-administrating
region of federal Somalia", was welcomed with open arms by the current
Somaliland administration.
The confidential report also states that the visit of
the delegation was kept secret from Somaliland's media, both state owned and
independent sections, and therefore, the citizens of Somaliland, who were kept
in the dark throughout this highly unusual and disturbing visit.
Although, the names and community origins of the
delegation was not revealed, a source close to the matter has confirmed that
most of the delegation consisted of elders from the Hawiye community in
Somalia.
However, the confidential report received by
Qarannews.com from within both Somaliland and Somalia makes it abundantly clear
that the instigation from the visit came from Somaliland, and as recently
revealed in Qarannews.com, the Somaliland Foreign Minister, Dr. Mohamed
Abdillahi Omar, stated previously that he had had contacts with members of the
transitional federal government in Somalia.
This issue sheds a light on the current situation in
Somaliland under this present administration which has embarked on a path that
is detrimental to the sovereignty, integrity and the security of Somaliland.Read here the report
